Champions for Kids Grant

The Champions for Kids Grant helps remove financial barriers that may prevent Linn-Mar students from participating in school-sponsored extracurricular activities, athletics, clubs, academic opportunities, and other educational experiences.

Champions Grants are available only for students who are eligible for the District's Free and Reduced-Price Meal Program. Applications must be submitted by a Linn-Mar staff member sponsoring the student(s) or event and should not be completed on behalf of another staff member.

Applications are reviewed by the Linn-Mar School Foundation Fund Distribution Committee, and sponsors can generally expect to receive a decision within two weeks of submission.

If approved, the Linn-Mar School Foundation will coordinate payment based on the nature of the request. Grant sponsors should be prepared to provide additional information or documentation as needed to facilitate review, payment, or reimbursement.

The Linn-Mar School Foundation recognizes the importance of protecting student privacy. Student information provided through this application will be used only for purposes related to reviewing, verifying, administering, and processing Champions Grant requests.

While expedited review cannot be guaranteed, the Linn-Mar School Foundation will do its best to accommodate urgent situations whenever possible.
